Necklaces Size Guide

Finding the ideal necklace length for you:

There is no one-size-fits-all answer when it comes to choosing the right necklace length. Different lengths can complement different outfits, occasions, and personal preferences. Here are some tips to help you find the necklace length that works best for you.

Measure Your Existing Necklaces

One of the easiest ways to find your ideal necklace length is to use an existing necklace that you like. You can measure it in two different ways, depending on the type of necklace.

Option 1:

Measure Full Length

There is no one-size-fits-all answer when it comes to choosing the right necklace length. Different lengths can complement different outfits, occasions, and personal preferences. Here are some tips to help you find the necklace length that works best for you.

Option 2:

Measure When Closed

To find out the length of your necklace, you need to do a simple calculation. First, close the clasp of the necklace and place it on a flat surface. Then, use a ruler or a tape measure to measure the distance from one end of the necklace to the other. This is the half-length of your necklace. Multiply this number by two and write it down. This is the full-length of your necklace.

Measure With String

To find the ideal length for your necklace, you have two options if you don’t own a necklace that fits you well. You can either use a tape measure or a piece of string to measure the circumference of your neck and add some extra length for comfort and style.

Option 1:

Use Flexible Tape Measure

Place a flexible tape measure around your neck. To find your necklace size, meet the ends of the measure where you would like the pendant to fall on your chest (as pictured above), and note the length.

Option 2:

Use a String

Place a piece of string around your neck. Meet the ends of the string where you would like the pendant to fall on your chest (as pictured above). To find your necklace size, measure the length of the string using a ruler or tape measure.

Find Your Choker Size

Contrary to the name, a choker should not be too tight. You want it to rest around your collar for optimal comfort.

Option 1:

Use Flexible Tape Measure

Place a flexible tape measure comfortably around your neck to find your neck size. To find your choker size, add 2 inches or 5 centimetres to your neck size.

Option 2:

Use a String

Place a piece of string comfortably around your neck. To find your neck size, mark where the ends meet and measure the length using a ruler or tape measure. To find your choker size, add 2 inches or 5 centimetres to your neck size.
